Smagul Saduakasov - the glorious son of the Kazakh people

The names of people who are closely connected with the history of the struggle for the independence of Kazakhstan remained forever in the memory of the people. Smagul Saduakasov - writer, publicist, literary critic, economist, our fellow countryman. He was born in 1900 in the village of Zharkyn, North Kazakhstan region. Having lived only 33 years, he became one of the prominent figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His great love for his people, high moral principles, political convictions became an example of selfless service to the Motherland. This was said by the participants of the online international scientific-practical conference "Glorious son of the people" dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Smagul Saduakasov.

Leadership, professors, undergraduates and doctoral students of universities in Kazakhstan, colleagues from Turkey and Russia, academicians of the National Academy of Sciences, smagulologists, journalists, archives and museums employees presented their reports on S. Saduakasov’s work and life.

At the conference, they discussed the Work Plan for the 120th anniversary of Smagul Sadauakasov, it was proposed to give the name of our outstanding countryman to one of the streets of Petropavlovsk.
