On holding a competition for the award of vacant educational grants released in the process of obtaining higher education

Based on the results of the summer examination session of the 2019-2020 academic year, a competition was announced to award vacant educational grants that were released in the process of obtaining higher education.

In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2008 No. 58 "On approval of the Rules for awarding an educational grant to pay for higher education" and the Academic policy of M.Kozybayev NKSU:

• The awarding of vacant educational grants released in the process of obtaining higher education is carried out during the summer and winter vacations for the available vacancies on a competitive basis.
• Vacant educational grants released in the process of obtaining higher education are awarded on a competitive basis to students on a paid basis in this specialty. The competition is held based on the results of intermediate attestation based on the GPA for the entire period of study with the issuance of a certificate of awarding a vacant educational grant.
• In the case of the same indicators of the GPA, the students who have grades only A, A- ("excellent"), then - grades from A, A- ("excellent") to B +, B, B- ("well").

In the absence of applicants for a specific specialty, vacant educational grants released in the process of obtaining higher education are transferred on a competitive basis within the direction of training following the results of the summer and winter examination sessions.

Acceptance of documents is carried out until 04 July 2020

The list of required documents must be submitted to the SSRC (Building 2):

1. Application of a student on a paid basis addressed to the rector of the university for participation in the competition for the award of educational vacant grants.
2. Student's transcript.
3. A copy of the student's identity document.
