Meeting of representatives of Kozybayev University and the S.M. Kirov plant on scientific and technical cooperation

Plants and enterprises of the North Kazakhstan region are partners of the university in training specialists, passing industrial practice for future engineers and conducting joint scientific projects. This week a delegation from Kozybayev University visited JSC “S.M. Kirov Plant".

Authorized person Yerbol Issakayev, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovations Akmaral Ibrayeva, Dean and Heads of FEDT Departments, Head of the Office of Commercialization of Research Results and Manager for Digitalization got acquainted with the production capacity of the enterprise and the products it produces. Issues of further mutual cooperation were discussed with Director General Amangeldy Argimbaev.

The plant produces modern computer equipment. In case of reaching an agreement on the supply of laptops to the university, certain requirements for their component parts were announced. For example, the presence of a built-in Web-camera for convenient communication between teachers and students.

The characteristics of the processor can be chosen by the customer himself, but the supplier assures that this product has all the programs that will be needed in the educational process. In addition, the parties expressed their interest in joint cooperation in the implementation of scientific ideas.

Traditionally, our university trains highly qualified personnel for the S.M. Kirov plant. Employment of engineering graduates was also discussed at a bilateral meeting.
