A start. A new teaching and laboratory building is being built at Kozybayev University

On the territory of the student campus, the construction of a 12-storey educational and laboratory building of Kozybayev University has begun. This project was included in the Employment Roadmap 2020.

This week akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov got acquainted with the progress of construction work. Now the construction of the foundation slab has begun, then they will start concreting the vertical reinforcement structures.

The head of the region noted that universities in Kazakhstan build buildings at their own expense, this is the position of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. But they made an exception for us, the state allocated funds in the amount of 7.1 billion tenge. This is a unique case in the history of the country's higher education. “All this is done to ensure that students do not go anywhere to study, but receive a quality education here. Every year there is a decrease in the number of applicants going abroad. And with the emergence of a new educational and laboratory building, we will see an even greater decrease in the outflow of our youth, ”said the akim of the North Kazakhstan region. He also said that construction of dormitories for 244 and 306 places is underway for our university. And next to the ULK there will be another comfortable Student House.

The new complex, with a total area of ​​more than 80 thousand square meters, will house 73 laboratories for engineering and digital technologies, transport and mechanical engineering, energy, radio engineering and medicine, - informed the acting director. Acting Chairman of the Executive Board - Rector Yerbol Issakayev. As part of the educational process, interactive forms of training using digital and IT technologies are provided.

In order to introduce practice-oriented methods into the educational process, simulation centers with imitation of a workplace will be created in the classrooms of the Higher School of Medicine (surgery, anesthesiology and resuscitation, obstetrics and gynecology, etc.). All this - with equipment that will allow each student to independently perform medical manipulations on robots, dummies, simulators and simulators. Thus, it will improve the quality of training for students, clinical interns, residents and practitioners.

To carry out educational and research work, the departments of the Agrotechnological Faculty will be equipped with 17 specialized, as well as virtual laboratories for veterinary medicine, farm animals, technological systems and equipment for greenhouse complexes.

Also, the academic building will include laboratories: "GreenEnergy", "Smarttechnology", "Modeling, Parallel Computing and BigData", "Robotics and Artificial Intelligence", "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles", "Programming of Control and Measuring Systems", "Cybersecurity and Data Protection "And pavilion" Starpins Technology - Starry Sky ". They will be involved not only in educational, but also in scientific activities, which will make it possible to conduct reliable research aimed at the needs of the region.
