Day of Older Persons was celebrated at Kozybayev University

Each new generation of Kazakhstanis learns from the wisdom of elders, their experience and moral qualities. Every year in Kazakhstan, October 1 is celebrated as the International Day of Older Persons. In our university 447 people are members of the veteran organization of the university. Her activists in an informal friendly atmosphere met with the Chairman of the Executive Board - Rector Yerbol Isskayev.

Over a cup of hot tea with sweets, we managed to talk, as they say, heart to heart. The first head of the university spoke about the successes of the alma mater, the achievements of students and teachers. Unanimous support was caused by the initiative of Yerbol Issakayev to create the Aksakaldar Alkasy Council of Elders at Kozybayev University: “I believe that your life experience, authority, deep knowledge and wisdom will contribute to the dynamic development of the university”,- he said.

Today, more than 90 teachers who are on well-deserved rest continue their labor activity for the benefit of the university. They share their experience with young teachers, transfer knowledge to students, and they conduct advanced scientific research under their guidance.

On behalf of the veteran community of the region, the chairman of the city Council of veterans Zhangeldy Tazhin congratulated those present. Representatives of the student administration also expressed their gratitude and sincere gratitude.
