Republican contest of young poets "Mushaira", dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abay

As part of the celebration of the 175th anniversary of the great poet and thinker Abay Kunanbayev, the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives and the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, held a republican competition of young poets "Mushaira".

It consisted of two stages. The first is qualifying, in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the North Kazakhstan region, it was attended by writers, poets, journalists, students and other representatives of youth aged 16 to 29 years from Petropavlovsk, Kyzylzhar, Ayyrtau and Ualikhanov districts.

ISHR "Rukhani zhangyru" Kozybayev University became the regional organizer of the North Kazakhstan region. The competition helped to identify the most gifted and talented young people.

Also, trainings and master classes were held with the involvement of experienced specialists: Zhanar Kulibekova (Associate professor, Candidate of philological sciences); Amanzhol Zagypar (winner of the international festival "Shabyt", head of the regional school of poets named after E. Askarov).

The jury summed up the results and identified the winners: Zharkhanat Khinaukhan (student of the Kazakh Language and Literature EP Kozybayev University); Samrat Kuskenov (employee of the security department of SOVA LLP, Petropavlovsk); Serzhan Nurdolkyn (student of the journalism journalism Kozybayev University).

All of them received a ticket to the republican stage of the "Mushaira" competition, which will be held from 5 to 20 October in the city of Almaty. We wish good luck to the participants from the North Kazakhstan region, inexhaustible talent and success!
