More than 600 students work as digital assistants in schools in North Kazakhstan region

Professional practice of students is an integral part of higher education. It is during it that children plunge into their specialty, consolidate their theoretical knowledge, learn to apply it, gain experience in communicating with colleagues, and see the subtleties of work from the inside.  It is conducted based on the specifics of the educational program in various formats, depending on the direction of training and place of passage – traditional, distance, mixed.

A total of 1,303 third-and final-year students were sent to professional practice in the fall semester. Of these, 139 undergraduates, 6 doctoral students and 1158 full-time and part - time students, as well as using distance learning technologies. Rules and instructions for organizing professional practices in the educational process with the use of DET have been prepared for students.

At the initiative Of the Department of education of the North Kazakhstan region, third-year students of the pedagogical direction were sent to pass industrial (pedagogical) practice as digital assistants in 186 educational institutions in Petropavlovsk and the districts of the North Kazakhstan region. This work will be carried out by 649 students from September 1 to December 12. They teach classes at primary school attendants and interact with students remotely. They help teachers conduct online classes, check attendance, prepare presentations, videos, and other additional materials, and perform short– term lesson planning online. Each student is assigned to a specific teacher and class.

In the context of global digitalization and the widespread introduction of distance learning, the acquired skills and knowledge will help young professionals to realize themselves in the profession and be at the center of pedagogical trends.
