An employee of the University History Museum became a prize-winner of the V regional competition of guides

The V regional competition of guides was held in the museum complex "Abylai Khan's Residence". It was attended by representatives of 13 museums not only in Petropavlovsk, but also in North Kazakhstan regions. The theme was the Sacred Map of the North Kazakhstan region.

The professional competition consisted of 3 rounds: in the first one it was necessary to present a video clip about selected sacred objects, then to conduct an excursion on a given topic for a specific target audience. The third creative stage is to orient yourself and tell as much information as possible about the proposed subject. Contestants demonstrated knowledge of factual material and skill in guiding excursions.

As a result, Laura Amrina, specialist of the Kozybayev University museum, took third place! The winner and prize-winners were awarded with diplomas and cash prizes.

Note that today the museum of our university has more than 3 thousand exhibits. Milestones in the development of the Alma mater are revealed in 7 rooms. Employees have switched to a remote mode of work and have already begun to conduct annual excursions for freshmen online.
