Sabit Mukanov: personality and heritage

The university hosted an international scientific and practical online conference "Sabit Mukanov: Personality and Heritage", dedicated to the 120th anniversary of our famous fellow countryman, the great writer S. Mukanov. It was attended by scientists, doctors and candidates of philological sciences, studying from universities in Turkey, Uzbekistan, as well as the cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Kokshetau and Petropavlovsk.

Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations Akmaral Ibrayeva noted that the talent and personality of Sabit Mukanov are forever immortalized in the memory of the people. His contribution to world literature is also great. Professor of our university, academician Zarkyn Taishybai spoke about the book by Kulbek Ergobek "Kelbet", dedicated to Sabit Mukanov.

Makhanbet Dzhusupov, a professor at the Uzbek State University of World Languages, spoke about the artistic value of the works of Sabit Mukanov, his unique literary style, and his creative heritage. Professors Ayabek Bainiyazov and Orhan Soylemes were in direct communication from Turkey, from the universities of Kastamonu and Ardahan. They noted that S. Mukanov's works are modern and interesting to readers not only in Kazakhstan, but far beyond its borders.

Well-known journalists, museum staff, writers, doctoral students and representatives of the scientific community also made reports.
