Kozybayev University students are winners of the Republican Olympiad in the specialty "Finance"

Victory! We are proud of the achievements of our students, and every time we are happy to announce the new heights they have conquered.

This time we congratulate the FinStars team of the Finance educational program on winning the XII Republican Student Subject Olympiad in Finance. It was held online on the Zoom platform at the Narxoz University (Almaty) and was devoted to the topic "Finances of the future: challenges and new opportunities for the development of the national economy".

The event was held to reveal the creative potential of future specialists in the field of national economy and management in various fields of activity, to increase the prestige of economic professions, to stimulate the creative initiative and scientific activity of student youth.

The Olympiad is held annually in 2 stages in Kazakh, Russian and English for 3-4 year students of economic direction with full-time education. Teams consist of 3 people.

The participants competed in three rounds: the first was a video-clips competition on the theme: "Finance - my love ... Finance - my life ... Finance - my way ...". At the second stage, they presented their scientific project, then they passed a blitz-quiz in the disciplines of the specialty.

In total, about 10 teams of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part. Our guys took 1st place! Here are the names of the winners: Asylkhan Amerzhan, Valeria Salikhova, Alina Zhalturova. Congratulations and wish you many new victories!
