Accreditation by the IAAR of the educational programs of the university

An external expert commission (EEC) of the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating has started working at Kozybayev University.

She conducts specialized accreditation of 30 educational programs of the university (11 of them pass it for the first time, 19 - repeatedly). This procedure is an independent examination of the EP, a kind of audit that allows you to get an external assessment and recommendations for improvement.

The EEC consists of 32 people, including 5 foreign experts from Greece and the Russian Federation, 2 representatives of employers, 3 students. The commission assesses EP according to 9 standards common to all and one - in the context of a separate specialty.

On the first day, representatives of the IAAR held remote meetings with the management of Kozybayev University, heads of structural divisions and accredited EP, teachers. The faculty also surveyed and got acquainted with the educational process online, including the laboratory and material and technical base.

The EEC at the university will work for three days. In general, the availability of specialized accreditation of educational programs is an important criterion, which is taken into account by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan when distributing state orders. And it demonstrates to the society the university's commitment to the quality of educational services, enhances the image of the higher educational institution and its graduates in the labor market.
