Kozybayev Readings - 2020

Every year, the Kozybayev Readings gather within the walls of our university famous scientists, talented students and undergraduates to discuss relevant topics that are then used, developed by researchers and introduced into production, the field of pedagogy, history, agronomy and others.

This year, the international scientific and practical conference was devoted to the priority areas of development, achievements and innovations of modern Kazakhstan science.

By tradition, the event began with the laying of flowers at the bust of Manash Kozybayev. The administration of the university, students, teachers and employees of Kozybayev University, as well as the head of the Education Department of the North Kazakhstan region Gulmira Karimova gathered to pay tribute to the great scientist.

Further, the guests took part in the opening ceremony of the scientific and methodological center "Abay ortalygy" in the framework of the 175th anniversary of the great akyn and the activities of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Research of the University "Rukhani Zhangyru". Scientific research will be conducted here, and the literary heritage of Abai Kunanbayev will be popularized.

This site is made using augmented reality technologies, which allows you to study creativity, biography of Abai and scientific works about him, reproducing music, video and objects "live 3D-picture". This function is available to everyone, you just need to download a special application on your smartphone and point the camera at the bulky stands in the audience. The image will "come to life" and "tell" the stored information. The participants spoke about the huge role of Abai Kunanbayev in the development of not only Kazakhstani, but also world literature, music and philosophy.

There was also a presentation of the 5-volume edition "Manashtanu maseleleri" in Kazakh and Russian languages. This is a collection of publications by Kazakh scientists dedicated to M. Kozybayev's scientific research, the study of his heritage, edited by Serik Omirbayev and Akmaral Ibrayeva.

The main scientific debate unfolded at the online plenary session of the Kozybayev Readings. The conference received over 360 reports not only from different cities of Kazakhstan, but from France, Turkey, Russia and other countries. 179 works were sent from students and undergraduates, which indicates the growth of scientific interest among young people.

At the beginning of the event, his deputy Gani Nygymetov made a welcoming speech on behalf of the akim of the North Kazakhstan region. Traditionally, the wife of Academician M. Kozybayev Sara Pshenbaevna addresses the participants of the readings.

Acting Chairman of the Executive Board - Rector Yerbol Issakayev noted that the university proudly bears the name of the renowned scientist, and the Kozybayev Readings have become an integral part of the scientific and educational activities of our university. Every year, on the birthday of Manash Kabashevich, we pay tribute to the outstanding academician, historian, patriot and mentor.

At the event, speakers spoke about new directions and research methods in various fields of science. Sectional sessions of the conference were held in 6 directions.
