Online forum for the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan at Kozybayev University

The forum "Kazakhstan Respublikasynyn Tyngysh Presidenti - Ult koshbassysy" was held in the format of a talk show on the eve of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This holiday has been celebrated in the country since 2012. It was established with the aim of recognizing Nursultan Nazarbayev's outstanding services to the republic: from nuclear disarmament to the development of the education system.

Students attended the event remotely. Those who were fortunate enough to meet with Elbasy personally and those who represent the spheres in the development of which the First President took an active part, shared their thoughts and emotions with them.

Acting Chairman of the Executive Board - Rector Yerbol Issakayev spoke about his impressions of the meeting with N. Nazarbayev. He noted the great contribution of the Leader of the Nation to the prosperity of our country, the establishment of its independence, economic growth, peace and stability in Kazakhstani society. Irina Olkova, head of the Department of Foreign Languages, also shared vivid memories of the visit of the Head of State to our alma mater.

In 2017, Nursultan Nazarbayev's programmatic article "Bolashakka bagdar: Rukhani zhangyru" was published. In this work, the author identified the main directions of modernization of the consciousness of society and every citizen of Kazakhstan: competitiveness; pragmatism; preservation of national identity; cult of knowledge; evolutionary development of the state and openness of consciousness. These projects were then integrated into the republican program. The director of the Institute for Social and Humanitarian Research "Rukhani Zhangyru" Zaure Kartova informed the students about this in more detail.
Supporting talented youth has always been one of the priorities in the activities of Elbasy. Student Yulia Svistunova, who for two years in a row has been a recipient of a scholarship from the Foundation of the First President, experienced this. In her speech, she talked about what it takes to also become a fellow.

“We all know that, on the initiative of the First President, an award for talented people under 29 was organized “Daryn”, scholarships from the Presidential Fund, last year was declared the Year of Youth, scholarships for students were increased, the construction of Student Dorms began,” said master student Bogdan Petrov. He elaborated on his volunteer project, the development of the volunteer movement in the country.

Also on this day, the Student Directorate awarded the winners of the contest of posts in social networks, dedicated to December 1. At the end of the event, everyone sang in unison the favorite song of Elbasy from the movie "Spring on Zarechnaya Street".
