Honoring the best students at the end of 2020

Traditionally, the university summed up the results of the outgoing year and awarded the distinguished students. The year was not easy, but together we overcame all difficulties. Distance learning technologies have been successfully integrated into the educational process of the university. The guys not only study and take exams online, but also take part in various activities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Acting Chairman of the Board - Rector Yerbol Issakayev noted that from the second semester, according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, freshmen will be able to continue their education offline. But the restrictions will have to be observed: distance, audience size, mask mode. Some of their disciplines will remain in a distance format (lectures and independent work), and practical and laboratory classes will be conducted traditionally. For students of 2-4 courses, while everything remains unchanged. Despite all the challenges, we have achieved very good achievements over the year: the contingent has increased, the number of educational grants has been increased, the construction of a new building and hostels is in full swing.

The distinguished students were honored in 7 nominations, 7 people in each. Winners and prize-winners of republican Olympiads, excellent students, holders of personal grants were noted for their academic success. The award for scientific achievements went to young researchers who showed themselves in republican and international competitions of scientific research work, olympiads, scientific conferences. The work of university athletes - champions and prize-winners of various competitions, Universiades, masters of sports and CCM in polyathlon, Kyokushinkai karate, grappling, football and other sports was also highly appreciated. In the nomination "Onerli Zhastar" talented students, winners of creative competitions - akyns, singers, musicians, musicians, readers were awarded.

The year of the volunteer is coming to an end, and therefore special attention has been paid to the guys involved in volunteering. In our university, student self-government is actively developed, and this area of ​​student activity was also reflected in the final ceremony. Also awarded were public activists of the university, those who help to carry out career guidance campaigns, trainings, student events of the CYA, the trade union, the student administration.
