Lyudmila Ivanovna Ivanova graduated from Tomsk State Pedagogical Institute in 1972 with a degree in English. She started her career as an English teacher in Secondary school No. 21. Petropavlovsk. Lyudmila Ivanovna started teaching at the university in August 1974. In 1978, she worked as a translator in Los Angeles (USA).
In the period from 1986 to 2003 Ivanova L.I. was the deputy dean of the Faculty of History and Philology of the North Kazakhstan University.
In 1978 Lyudmila Ivanovna took advanced training courses in English in Almaty, in 1986 in Tver, in 2001 participated in the methodological seminar of the British Council (Almaty) “Mentoring-school-based teaching practice”, has certificates. In 1987 she entered the correspondence postgraduate course of Tver State University named after Kalinina majored in Romano-Germanic Philology.
She was awarded a Diploma of the Regional Committee of the Trade Union of Education Workers, an Honorary diploma of the Department of Education of the North Kazakhstan Region, a Letter of Thanks from the rector (2008), a Large gold medal (2012) for her great contribution to the education and upbringing of students.
