Comprehensive study of the ancient Iron Age settlement Ak-Iri near the village of Dolmatovo and reconstruction of economic complexes of ancient tribes of Northern Kazakhstan

The goal of the project is to create an open-air Museum archaeological and ethnographic complex based on the reconstruction of burial and housing complexes of different eras and the reconstruction of various industries and home crafts from the stone age to the middle ages.

Project objective:

- Organization of the North Kazakhstan archaeological expedition, the creation

open-air museum on the site of Ak-Iriy near the village of Dolmatovo;

- Museumification of archaeological sites, the creation of expositions, exhibitions, life-size models, ethno-archaeological ensembles and compositions, traveling exhibitions;

- Studying the historical experience of the interaction of the peoples of Kazakhstan and Eurasia;

- Creation of a modern concept for the development of ancient cultures of Northern Kazakhstan;

- Formation of historical consciousness as the basis for the development of ethnocultural and ethno-confessional life of modern society, etc.

The results of the study:

Scientific research on this project will allow to enter the territory of Northern Kazakhstan into the general Eurasian panorama of the events of the economic ties of the Great Silk Road and will attract the interest of excursion groups for outdoor activities. The practical significance of the project is due to the growing need to engage adolescents in socially useful activities and the need for patriotic education of the younger generation. In the process of developing the tourism industry, a field archaeological campaign is organized for students in schools in the city and region. Joint research work is being carried out with the following scientific and educational organizations State Institution of Culture Arkaim Historical and Cultural Reserve (Chelyabinsk Region), South Ural State University (Chelyabinsk, Russian Federation), National Archaeological Center AV KOM - Heritage LLC (Ekaterinburg, Russian Federation).
