"Smart grain storage" is an integrated intelligent IoT system for remote monitoring, analysis and management of technological processes of grain storage
Priority area: Sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex and safety of agricultural products

Project manager: Koshekov K.T., Doctor of Technical Sciences, Demyanenko A.V., PhD.
Project executors: Kurmashev I.G., PhD, Tuleshov A.K., Doctor of Technical Sciences, Astapenko N.V., Master of TS, Pukema O.N., Master of TS, Koshekov A.K., master of TS.
Terms of execution: 2018-2020
Amount of financing: 69,000,000 tenge.
The goal of the project: creation of an innovative system "smart grain storage", which is an integrated intelligent IoT system designed for monitoring, analysis and control of technological processes of a grain storage, ensuring good performance, scalability and operational safety.
Expected results: As a result of the implementation of the "smart grain storage" project, an IoT solution will be offered to the problem of monitoring and controlling the technological process of grain storage using new methods and technologies: automatic collection and transmission of set parameters over a network of wireless Zigbee sensors; a non-contact method for obtaining 3d measurements using the capabilities of digital photogrammetry, ground-based remote sensing and real-time laser scanning.
Description of the project: the project proposes to develop an integrated intelligent system for monitoring, analyzing and managing technological processes of a grain storage, including modern technologies of the Internet of Things (Internet of Things, IoT), cloud applications, storage and processing of big data (Big-data), methods of obtaining 3d -measurements by recognition of images from surveillance cameras, elements of artificial intelligence and computational algorithms. Ensuring the quantitative and qualitative preservation of grain in the system is supposed by analyzing a digital model of the grain surface relief in real time based on 3d measurements.
