The goal of the project is to Improve the effectiveness of methods for diagnosing and assessing the severity of metabolic disorders in highly productive animals.
Expected results: clinical and laboratory examination of selected groups of animals to detect their predisposition to develop birth weakness in the prenatal period. Development of recommendations for improving the effectiveness of diagnostics and assessment of the severity of metabolic disorders in highly productive animals in specific conditions of the climate zone of Kazakhstan and Russia.
Project description: modern dairy production can be cost-effective only when using high-tech techniques and balanced concentrate diets. When transferring cows to high-concentration diets, life support systems are not always ready to adapt to the changed conditions, which leads to metabolic disorders in various organs and systems, to premature decreases in productivity, duration of operation, and, ultimately, to large economic losses. It is necessary to improve the methods of clinical and laboratory diagnostics of cattle pathology.
Project objectives:
- further research to decipher the mechanisms of development of metabolic disorders in highly productive animals;
- development of pathogenetically based clinical and laboratory Express methods for diagnosing metabolic disorders, assessing the severity of this condition and the effectiveness of therapy based on the data obtained;
- mass examination of groups of animals in farms of the region using the methods developed by us, early detection of the prevalence, severity and consequences of metabolic disorders;
- introduction of clinical and laboratory methods developed by us to assess the severity of metabolic disorders in highly productive cows in the livestock industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
