Terms of execution: 2018-2020
Amount of financing: 69,000,000 tenge.
Purpose of the project: Research and selection of optimal parameters for data transmission systems of automated environmental monitoring devices.
Expected Result: Improvement of the data transmission system in automatic atmospheric monitoring stations will increase both the speed of the entire system as a whole and the accuracy and frequency of transmitted data, which will lead to better reporting and a more accurate picture of emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere in general. Obtaining a Eurasian patent.
Description of the project: in the conditions of intensive development of the subsoil of Kazakhstan, it is important to assess the impact of these activities on the environment. Integrated environmental monitoring systems are used for this assessment. These systems operate in an automatic mode, at a considerable distance from information processing centers. Due to the variety of possible data transmission options, difficulties arise in the processing and analysis of the incoming information. This makes it difficult to assess the transmitted data, make predictions and select solutions to address environmental problems. Creation of a prototype station for automatic monitoring of the environment, adapted to the climatic conditions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and capable of continuous communication with the operator or server through wireless data transmission systems.
