Student Government

Student Government is a student self–government body created on the initiative of students to implement goals aimed at solving important issues of student life, developing their social activity, supporting and implementing social initiatives.

The main purpose of the Student Government is to assist in the implementation of the main tasks assigned to the University through the formation and development of the student's personality, his active citizenship, social maturity, independence, spiritual and moral, patriotic and leadership qualities.

To achieve its goal , the Student Government solves the following tasks:

1) coordination of the activities of all student organizations (clubs, clubs) University;

2) protection of the interests of students and undergraduates of the University;

3) promoting the realization of creative potential and improving the professional training of students and undergraduates of the University;

4) assistance in improving the material and living situation of University students, solving their social problems;

5) organization of communication activities with University graduates;

6) development of scientific and humanitarian ties with student, youth and other organizations and public associations in the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad.

The main activities of the Student Government:

1) assistance to the Department of Educational and Social Work in the organization and conduct of educational work;

2) support and development of student science;

3) organization of recreation and leisure of students;

4) organization of charity events;

5) development of external relations with organizations both on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad;

6) organization of activities to ensure secondary employment of students and undergraduates;

7) health and sports work;

8) information and methodological work.

In 2023, a student of the Ecology-21 FMNS group was elected President of the Student Government of the University Diana Petrova.

Prime Minister The Student Government is engaged in the study and analysis of conflict situations between a teacher and a student, organizes trainings, seminars on topical issues of the educational process, conducts discussions; promotes the disclosure of the research potential of students, popularization of research work.

Minister of Culture The Student Government organizes student events at the University, in dormitories, initiates and oversees amateur activities among students; is engaged in informing students about various international, republican, regional and city programs and projects implemented at the University; informs students about actions carried out by the Student Government.

Minister of Sports and Health The Student Government is responsible for organizing sports events, promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle, and promotes the participation of athletes in sports events at the university, city, regional and republican levels.

Minister of Finance The Student Government forms timely applications, memos in coordination with the President of the Student Government, ensures record keeping and financial reporting, organizes the provision of stationery, consumables and other inventory items necessary for work, organizes their reception, accounting, storage and issuance. Reports on his work to the President of the Student Government and the Department of Economic Planning and Finance of the University.

Minister of Faculty/Institute The Student Government, in coordination with the deans, heads the Student Government at the faculties/institute, is responsible for the cultural and sports activities of the faculty and organizes the work of the elders of the study groups and activists of the faculty/institute.

Chairman of Dormitories The Student Government organizes work on compliance with the rules of residence, hygiene standards, maintenance of cleanliness and aesthetic maintenance of dormitories, landscaping, maintenance of green spaces, and landscaping.
