Main goals and objectives
The main goal of the Department is the scientific and methodological support of the educational process of the University, introducing students to the culture of the multi-ethnic people of Kazakhstan, consulting activities of state and public organizations and institutions of the North Kazakhstan region on issues of ethno-confessional relations.
Tasks
- Scientific and methodological and educational and methodological support of the University on ethnopolitics in the light of the implementation of the fundamental documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Organization of activities of the scientific and methodological association of the University’s teaching staff and members of the public on issues of interfaith tolerance and interethnic harmony in the context of the formation of Kazakhstan’s civic identity and competitive nation based on Kazakhstani patriotism and the spiritual and cultural community of the people of Kazakhstan with the consolidating role of the Kazakh people
- Providing scientific and methodological assistance to the North Kazakhstan Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as NKAPK) to improve the content and forms of work of the NKAPK Secretariat, the Scientific and Expert Group at NKAPK, and ethnocultural centers of the North Kazakhstan Region
- Implementation of cooperation with the Department "Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan" of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, as a methodological center, and similar departments of other higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan
- Conducting educational work among students on the formation of interfaith tolerance and interethnic harmony
- Popularization of scientific developments and fundamental documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan, informing the general public about scientific achievements in the field of ethno-political research of Kazakhstan and foreign scientists, the activities of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, NKAPK, University, the Department through: the organization and conduct of training sessions, educational, scientific, methodological, scientific, practical and educational events, media coverage
