Main goals and objectives
The main purpose of the Department of Student Affairs is: planning, control and organization of social and educational work at the university in accordance with approved plans and programs.
To achieve this purpose, the Department of Student Affairs needs to solve the following tasks:
- Effective planning of educational activities of the university using the creative potential of student youth, development of priority areas in the implementation of educational activities: education of Kazakhstan patriotism, implementation of the national idea "Mangilik el", the Society of Universal Labor, education of modern spiritual and moral values, prevention of religious extremism and terrorism, education of zero tolerance to corruption and offenses, the formation of civil-legal culture and healthy lifestyle, etc., organization of educational work at faculties/institute/Foundation.
- Strengthening the social protection of students, organizing and conducting work with orphaned students, children left without parental care, students with disabilities, students from low-income and large families.
- Assistance in obtaining state, social, medical, psychological counseling and other assistance, providing special, social and other types of services, in solving issues of protecting the rights and interests of students.
- Monitoring of the socio-psychological state in the youth student environment, including through the organization of educational activities in study groups, courses, faculties and individually.
- Organization and holding of seminars, round tables and consultations on improving educational work among students, development of cooperation with state organizations on youth education, ensuring control and participation in the organization and conduct of socially significant events.
