Atygaeva Galina Babasanovna

Atygaeva Galina Babasanovna first crossed the threshold of the Petropavlovsk Pedagogical Institute in 1974, entering the Faculty of History with a degree in History and Pedagogy. She managed to study well and be a komsomol member of the group. After receiving a diploma with honors, she went to the Shakhov Secondary School, then was sent by the head teacher to the Zhanazhol secondary School of Zhambyl district. In 1985, she was accepted as an assistant at the Department of World History of the Ushinsky Pedagogical Institute. She completed an internship and entered the postgraduate program of the Leningrad State Pedagogical University.Herzen University, majoring in "Methods of teaching History". In 1991, after returning to the department, she began to apply active forms of education in university practice, participated in the examination of school history textbooks, involved school history teachers in the process of developing students ' practical skills, discussing working curricula and organizing practices. Participated in the first UNT as part of the experts of the Republican Testing Center in South Kazakhstan and Ural regions.

In 1992, she was appointed Deputy Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology. She supervised the newly opened Kazakh department when they announced the recruitment of teachers of the Kazakh language and literature, and later history teachers for schools with the state language of instruction. This troublesome position required full dedication: to know each student, to support and encourage them in time or to help in a difficult situation, to solve conflict situations, to settle students in a hostel, to check their living conditions. In the difficult 90-ies, power outages began in the city, I had to stand on duty in the morning with a candle at the class schedule in order to direct students to the right audience.

And when North Kazakhstan university named after M. Kozybayev  decided to open a law faculty, taking into account the long-term experience of G. B. Atygaeva, she was transferred to the newly created division as deputy dean of the law faculty. Young teachers who had just been hired, and students who had previously studied at a private university on a commercial basis and, accordingly, knew little about their duties - these were the realities. Under the leadership of Dean Baranova N. K., a student asset of the faculty was created, and a team of like-minded people was gradually formed. A team of KVN, police assistants, and sports teams from among students was created. The material base was strengthened, specialized classrooms were created, and practicing lawyers were involved in teaching. Graduates of the Faculty of Law have joined the ranks of law enforcement officers in the North Kazakhstan region.

At the Department of "History of Kazakhstan and Social and humanitarian disciplines" G. B. Atygaeva worked until 2021. She was a mentor for young teachers, actively maintained contact with theveterans of the department.

Galina Babasanovna was repeatedly encouraged by diplomas of university, city and regional leaders. In 2013, for many years of conscientious work at the North Kazakhstan State University named after M. Kozybayev, she was awarded a Large Gold Medal. a medal.
