The Longevity Center
The volunteer project "Longevity Center" at the nursing home helps students develop social responsibility and a sense of empathy. Communicating with people who need care and care, providing free assistance, and working in a team – all this creates in young people an understanding of the importance of helping others and the ability to empathize.
Volunteers face various situations and tasks, which helps them develop valuable skills such as communication, time management, event management, teamwork, and others. These skills are not only valuable for volunteering, but will also be useful to students in their future careers.
Therefore, volunteers in such institutions do exactly what they do at home with elderly relatives: they communicate, help them take a walk, just listen and charge each other with positivity! Classes in arts and crafts, drawing and board games are regularly held.
