Zinaida Petrovna Tabakova was born on October 9, 1937 in years of emigration, in China. In 1954, she came to the USSR with her parents to develop virgin lands. Since that time, her life has been connected with Kazakhstan. Here Zinaida Petrovna graduated from high school and began her career as a senior pioneer leader in the Mikhailovskaya Secondary School of the Pavlodar region. In 1957 she enrolled the Petropavlovsk Pedagogical Institute. The choice of the university was connected with the desire to study the Russian language, literature and history, the pedagogical Institute in Petropavlovsk remained the only university where the dual specialty was still preserved. In 1962 Tabakova Z.P. graduated with honors from the university with a degree in "teacher of Russian language, literature and history". From 1962 to 1971, by distribution, together with her husband, she worked as a teacher at the Lebyazhenskaya secondary school of the Bulaevsky district, then as the director of the Secondary Novo-Bulaevskaya Railway School. In 1971, Z.P. Tabakova passed the competition for the Department of the Russian language of our university, works as a teacher, senior lecturer, deputy dean of the Faculty of History and Philology.

In 1979 Z.P. Tabakova defended her PhD thesis "Функции предложно-падежной синтаксической формы «у + род.п. имени» в современном русском языке", in which she proposed and justified a new approach to solving the issues of qualification of non-verbal sentences. In 1986, by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Council of Ministers of the USSR, she was awarded the academic title of associate professor at the Department of the Russian Language.

Since 1981 Z.P. Tabakova became permanent head of the Department of the Russian language, and since 1997 after the unification of the Department of the Russian Language and the Department of Literature until 2015 – Head of the Department of "Russian Language and Literature". In 1997, on the initiative of Z.P. Tabakova, a promising specialty "journalism" was opened at the Department of the NKSU, whose graduates work today in city, regional, republican and Russian media. In 2002, a department of journalism in the Kazakh language was opened at the Department of Kazakh Philology, in 2016 an independent department of Journalism was created on the basis of two departments of journalism.

For the first time in the NKSU, a master's degree was opened at the Department of the Russian language, Kazantseva Z.M. received a master's degree under N1, who became the first graduate of the master's degree in the NKSU, all these years Zulfiya Muratbekovna continues to work at the department.

In 1992, a monograph by Z.P. Tabakova "Verbless sentences in modern Russian" was published. In 1994, Associate Professor Z.P. Tabakova defended the first doctoral dissertation in Kazakhstan on the Russian language "Structural and semantic types of verbless sentences in modern Russian", in which the author presents the results of many years of research on the semantic syntax of the Russian language. In 1998 , Z. Tabakova was awarded the academic title of professor in the specialty "linguistics".

Zinaida Petrovna is an excellent teacher and a good organizer. In 1995, on the initiative of Professor Z.P. Tabakova, a postgraduate course in the specialty 10.02.01 – Russian language was opened at the university, and in 2000, a Council for the defense of candidate dissertations was opened in this specialty. Under the guidance of Z.P. Tabakova, 11 PhD students defended their dissertations: Tverdokhlebova E.A., Sabieva E.V., Ospanova I.V., Darbayeva Zh.K., Bochkova L.A., Segizbayeva K.K., Sirivlya M.A., Beimukhametova A.A., Makarova O.V., Saraeva O.A., Misyachenko S.V. Scientists from different universities of Kazakhstan and Russia took part in the work of the regional council. Teachers not only from NKSU, but also from universities in Almaty, Pavlodar, Kostanay, Ust-Kamenogorsk defended themselves here. According to the results of the state certification in 2014, the specialty "Russian language and literature" had 100% availability of doctors and candidates of sciences.

Kabatyrova) and others. It is actively published in national and foreign scientific publications with a high impact factor.

The scientific school of Professor Z.P. Tabakova is well known not only in Kazakhstan, but also abroad. Data on Z.P. Tabakova are included in the international encyclopedia "Who is Who in Modern Russian Studies", published in 1994 in Helsinki. In 2006, Z.P. Zinaida Petrovna, lectures to teachers of the region, works on teacher retraining courses, participates in the jury of regional and republican Olympiads and competitions of schoolchildren's projects. For many years she was an active member of the society "Knowledge" and "Society of Book lovers", awarded badges of these societies. Zinaida Tabakova is actively published in the media, was awarded a certificate of honor for her active work as a non-staff correspondent of the regional newspaper.

Z.P. Tabakova was awarded honorary diplomas of the Rector, the Department of Education of the North Kazakhstan Region, the akim of the region, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan; badges: "Excellent of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan"; medals: "Veteran of Labor", "For valiant labor","20 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Big gold Medal of M. Kozybayev NKSU", "80 years of Al-Farabi KazNU", "25 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan". In 2007, she became a laureate of the first degree award of the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region in the field of education.

In 2009, she was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of the North Kazakhstan region.
