Leading methodologist–mathematician

Kucher Tatiana Pavlovna was born in 1950 in Petropavlovsk in a military family. After graduation, she studied at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Petropavlovsk State Pedagogical Institute named after K.D. Ushinsky. After graduating in 1972, she worked at a secondary school as a mathematics teacher, first in Timiryazevo, and then as a head teacher in Dokuchaevo. Since 1975, she has been teaching mathematics in high school at school No. 35 in Petropavlovsk. It was a bright page in her pedagogical activity. Her students showed high results not only at regional, but also at republican Olympiads, so the doors of the mathematical faculties of prestigious universities in Moscow, Leningrad and Novosibirsk were opened to them. She was proud of her students, and every year they came to meet with her to discuss their future plans.

Since 1981, Tatiana Pavlovna has been associating her professional activity with the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education of the Petropavlovsk Pedagogical Institute named after K.D. Ushinsky. As a strong practical mathematician, she was invited to the department to improve the methodology of mathematics in elementary school. Tatiana Pavlovna enthusiastically took up this difficult task. This was followed by a three-year internship at the Research Institute of Content and Teaching Methods of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR in Moscow and admission to the postgraduate course of this institution. In 1987, she successfully defended her PhD thesis. After that, she returned to work at her institute as a teacher of the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education. In 1990, she received a diploma of associate professor in the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education. From 1989 to 2009, she headed the Department of "Methods of Primary Education". Her department was considered one of the best in the introduction of new learning technologies. Tatiana Pavlovna was the first in the republic to adapt an effective system of tasks on key mathematical concepts for preparatory groups of preschool education and implemented it in the innovative Preschool Center "Iskorka". Since 1992, Tatiana Kucher has been an active member of the RЕMC on teaching methods in primary schools and on teacher training for small schools.

T.P. Kucher actively participated in international and republican scientific conferences and seminars. In 1997, T.P. Kucher was awarded the badge "Excellent of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

From 2007 to 2014, Tatiana Pavlovna participated in the republican experiment on the introduction of 12-year education in secondary school. Since 2009, she has been one of the authors of textbooks and programs in mathematics for secondary schools (grades 2-6) of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2013, she became the owner of the title "The best university teacher". In 2014, she improved her qualifications at the International Seminar "Integration of preschool and school education systems based on the experience of France".

T.P. Kucher has more than 300 published works, including 32 academic publications in the last 3 years, 2 of them in Moscow and one in St. Petersburg. 11 articles with an impact factor have been published. The works are published in Kazakh journals and in publications of Russia, Ukraine, Austria, Germany, Czechoslovakia. In the 2015-2016 academic year, the Coachman T.P. She became the winner of the III All-Russian competition with international participation for the best scientific publication in the field of humanities in two nominations: "The best textbook for students in the field of Psychology and Pedagogy" and "The best textbook for preschool children". In the same academic year, she became a laureate of the First International Competition of educational publications "Classics of Education" in the category "Mathematics". According to the results of this competition, the book "Mathematics. Tests (Moscow, Yurayt Publishing House, 2016). In the 2016-2017 academic year, Tatiana Pavlovna became a laureate of the IV All-Russian competition with international participation for the best scientific publication in the field of humanities.

During her time at the university, she proved herself to be a conscientious, responsible and serious employee. In the disciplines being read, T.P. Kucher has developed methodological support: EMCD, tests, lecture presentations, for some – textbooks and video lectures. Lectures and conducts practical classes at a high scientific and methodological level. Annually supervises the scientific work of students, prepares student papers for participation in the annual Republican contest of scientific student papers, under her scientific guidance, students have repeatedly won prizes in this competition and were awarded with diplomas and commendations.

Tatiana Pavlovna takes an active part in the life of the department, she is a member of the Council of the Pedagogical Faculty. In 2016, she was awarded the badge "Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
