Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Docent, Professor of NKSU
Natalia Ivanovna Pustovalova was born on March 5, 1954 in Petropavlovsk, North Kazakhstan region. From 1971 to 1975, she studied at the Petropavlovsk Pedagogical Institute named after K.D. Ushinsky at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, majoring in mathematics. Natalia Ivanovna's career began at the PPHME plant, where she briefly worked as a process technician. In 1977, she began working at the Zvezdochka preschool institution, and two years later she became the head of the kindergarten "Happy Childhood" of the Komsomolka sewing factory. Soon, the young head is entrusted with the construction of a new model preschool for 12 groups, which has received the beautiful name "Zhemchuzhinka". The period of work in this preschool institution is one of the brightest in the life of Natalia Ivanovna. Everything new that was included in the system of preschool education of the independent Republic of Kazakhstan was introduced into the educational process of kindergarten "Zhemchuzhinka".
Since April 1996, N.I. Pustovalova has been working at the North Kazakhstan State University named after M. Kozybayev. Having extensive experience as a supervisor, Natalia Pustovalova becomes Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Music and Pedagogy. Holding the positions of Deputy Dean, Dean of the Faculty and head of the Department, Natalia Ivanovna has always been a professionally competent, proactive and demanding leader. On her initiative, in the period from 2000 to 2002, 4 new specialties were opened at the Music and Pedagogical Faculty: "Preschool education and upbringing", "Pedagogy and Psychology", "Defectology", "Social Pedagogy". At the same time, Natalia Ivanovna is productively engaged in scientific work: she writes articles, participates in scientific and practical conferences, directs diploma and master's works.
In January 2005, she successfully defended her PhD thesis on the topic: "Methods of forming mathematical representations in older preschoolers on the basis of continuity in the transition to 12-year education" for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in the specialty 13.00.02 – Theory and methodology of teaching and upbringing (mathematics) at the Dissertation Council of KazNPU named after Abay. In 2010, N.I. Pustovalova was awarded the academic title of associate professor in the specialty 13.00.00 – "Pedagogy" by the decision of the Committee for Control in the Field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 26, 2010.
From 2014 to 2016, N.I. Pustovalova worked as the head of the Department of Pedagogy. Currently, she works as a professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology. She is always friendly and attentive to colleagues and students, undergraduates who can find answers to educational and life questions in communication with her.
N.I. Pustovalova has more than 200 scientific publications. Participated in international (Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria), republican and regional scientific and practical conferences. Scientific articles have been published in scientific and methodological journals: "Mathematics at school", "Bulletin" of KazNPU named after Abay; information and methodological bulletin of the RIAT ES "Management in education"; Republican scientific and methodological journal "Professional of Kazakhstan", "Primary school of Kazakhstan", "Bilim-education", etc., journals with non-zero impact factor (RSCI).
During the period of work at the university, Natalia Ivanovna was a co-director for the preparation of candidate dissertations of 3 teachers of M. Kozybaev NKSU, who successfully defended their dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in 2009-2010. Under her leadership, 5 graduates of M. Kozybayev NKSU defended their master's theses.
Natalia Ivanovna is a co–author of the draft State Standards of 12-year secondary education and the UMK in mathematics for 5th and 6th grades of a 12-year school. From 2002 to 2010, she was a member of the methodological and expert councils for reviewing textbooks for 12-year schools at the RSPC "Uchebnik" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a member of the Coordinating Council at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for preparing for the transition to 12-year education, a member of the REMC in the specialty 050101–"Preschool education and Upbringing" at the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University (Almaty). Currently, she is a member of the expert council on self-assessment of universities for institutional accreditation of educational programs and organizations of higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She has repeatedly participated in expert commissions on accreditation of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kokshetau, Uralsk, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, Karaganda).
During the period of teaching at the university Natalia Ivanovna independently and co-authored more than 20 teaching aids and 2 textbooks "Methods of forming mathematical representations in older preschoolers on the basis of continuity in the transition to 12-year education" (2006; 2007), one collective monograph "Theory and practice of teaching in modern educational space. – Almaty: Almaty University, 2016.
For her impeccable work, active participation in public life and the training of highly qualified specialists, Natalia Pustovalova was awarded the diplomas of the Rector of the University, the Diploma of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2007), the gratitude of the Akim of the North Kazakhstan region. Has a badge "Y. Altynsarin" (2016)
