Taizhanova Mukaram Murzatovna has gone a long way as a teacher, scientist, and leader. She grew up in a large, friendly, hardworking family, where the main principle was "ulkenge-kurmet, kishige-izet", which means mutual respect between the older and younger generations. In the 30s of the last century, Grandfather Kozha was forced by the whole clan to leave his ancestral lands near Lake Sarykol (Kostanay region) and live in the Kurgan region of the Russian Federation until 1971, where Mukaram Murzatovna was born on February 4, 1957. "Mukaram" this name was given by the grandfather to his beloved granddaughter, because she was born in the first month (muharram) of the Muslim calendar. According to the Kazakh tradition, as a granddaughter of the eldest son, Mukaram grew up in her grandfather's family, where honesty, responsibility, discipline and hard work, respect for elders and care for the younger ones were valued – human qualities that she always adhered to in her professional activities. In 1971, the family returned to their homeland, to Kazakhstan, where Mukaram graduated from school in 1975. She enrolled the Faculty of Natural Geography of the Petropavlovsk Pedagogical Institute, majoring in Geography-Biology.
M.M. Taizhanova began her professional career in 1980 as a teacher of agricultural labor at the Arkhangelsk special boarding school of the North Kazakhstan Region. From 1981 to 1983, she was a research intern at the Department of Geomorphology of the Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov (Almaty). In 1984, she enrolled the target postgraduate school of KazSU with a degree in geomorphology and paleogeography. The scientific supervisor was one of the founders of the scientific school of geography in Kazakhstan, Doctor of Geographical Sciences Zhandaev M.Zh. Thanks to his dedication, hard work, love of geography. In 1991, Taizhanova M.M. successfully defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Geographical Sciences at the Institute of Geography of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. She has a PhD degree, is effectively engaged in research work: she has published more than 40 scientific papers. Thanks to the organizational ability and perseverance of M.M. Taizhanova, in 2003 a master's degree in two specialties was opened at the Department of Geography and Ecology: "Geography" and "Ecology". From 1988 to 1995 Mukaram Murzatovna went through a career path from a teacher, head of the department to a vice-rector. In the first difficult years of Kazakhstan's independence, she made a significant contribution to the development of the secondary education system of our region: from 1995 to 2002, she worked as the first deputy head of the Department of Education of the North Kazakhstan Region. In 2002, she returned to the university, where, after briefly working as the head of the Department of Geography and Ecology, Dean of the Faculty of History and Philology, director of the Institute of Language and Literature of the M. Kozybayev NKSU, she connected her professional activity with the social, educational work of students, the university staff for a long time. From 2004 to 2016, she worked as the vice-rector for educational work of M. Kozybayev NKSU. High spiritual, moral, ethical requirements for oneself, as well as for subordinates and students involved in the sphere of activities, ensured high efficiency of political, cultural, mass, educational events held not only within the university, but also the city and the region. Since 2017, she has returned to scientific and pedagogical activity as a professor of the Department of Geography and Ecology.
Since the founding of the Nur Otan party, Taizhanova Mukaram has been a member of it; she was elected a delegate to the 14th, 15th, 16th party congresses. She was the chairman of the Bolashak branch of the Nur Otan party. She worked as a member of public commissions under the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan Region: on demographic policy and women's affairs, youth policy, religious affairs and relations with religious associations; member of the executive committee of the regional committee of the trade union of Education and Science workers. He has an active life position: she shares experience with young teachers, does sports (running, skiing, swimming, breathing gymnastics), participates in sports, cultural events of the department, university, always communicates with young people with interest, takes care of younger brothers and sisters with great love.
M.M. Taizhanova was awarded letters of thanks from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2001, 2005, 2012, 2015), Chairman of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – 2009, Republican Election Commission – 2011, Rector of KarSTU – 2014, Rector of M.Kozybayev NKSU – 2015; badges: "Excellent of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Honorary Worker education of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Bilim zhane gylym kyzmetkerlerin kasipodagyna sinirgen enbegi ushin", "Y. Altynsarin"; awarded the jubilee medal "Kazakhstan Khalkyasyna 20 zhyl", the medal "Veteran of Labor"; She received the gratitude of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2001, 2005, 2011), Honorary diplomas of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1999, 2005, 2012), Honorary Diploma of the Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region. For her contribution to the development of the university, she was awarded the "Big Gold Medal of the M. Kozybayev NKSU".
