Formation of anti-corruption consciousness among young people

The North Kazakhstan branch of the Republican Public Association "Nationwide Movement against Corruption "ZHANARU" together with the Center for Support of Civil Initiatives of the IER RK held an anti-corruption lecture in the university.

Students were told about the values of freedom, family, personal space and opportunities for self-development and the implementation of anti-corruption policy of the state. One of the goals of the organizers was to increase the legal literacy of young people and their knowledge of normative-legal acts. The meeting was aimed at creating in the society an atmosphere of zero tolerance for corrupt practices, their prevention and minimization of consequences.

For this purpose, the university has a project office "Sanaly urpaq", a blog of the rector, and the Council of Ethics. There are boxes of trust, during exams there is an action "Clean Session", where independent observers are students-rectors. Kozybayev University was one of the first in the country to join the Academic Integrity League.
