Support for young scientists is one of the important priorities of the university

6 young scientists of our university became the winners of the competition for the grant of the Board Chairman - Rector and received 300,000 tenge each for the development of research activities! During the year, they will need to write 2 articles on the topic of their project in publications recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, or 1 article with a non-zero impact factor in a foreign scientific journal.

In total, there were declared 13 participants in the competition: graduate students, doctoral students and teachers of Kozybayev University under the age of 35.

First, they sent applications and electronic presentations to the organizing committee, and in the second stage, they presented their works in technical, natural science, and humanitarian areas offline. The commission, consisting of representatives of the Department of Science, and the Council of Young Scientists, as well as enterprises of the city, evaluated the relevance, practical significance, scientific novelty, and degree of elaboration.

As a result, the winners were:

1. Daniyar Abutalip, doctoral student of HELF. His project: "Assessment of sustainable socio-economic development of the region."

2. Alibek Adilbekov, senior lecturer of FEDT. He presented the development of software for recognition and classification of unmanned aerial vehicles through an electro-optical and radar channel with the function of adaptation to SensorFusion platforms.

3. Anna Meshchanova, doctoral student of FMNS. Her research is devoted to the technology of manufacturing biologically active preparations based on balsam poplar, which have growth-stimulating activity for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. Meruert Omarova, lecturer of PF, considered the integration of academic disciplines in order to apply the principles of humane pedagogy in the conditions of education of Kozybayev University.

5. Evgeniy Romanenko, master's student at FMNS, researched the development of electronic textbooks to prepare school students for entrance exams in biology.

6. Alyona Yanevich, lecturer of FMNS, received a grant with the theme: "Creation and research of cream base compositions using natural fats."

The total prize fund of the competition amounted to 1 million 800 thousand tenge. Part of the budget was received from the "Nursultan Nazarbayev’s Fund" for the development of the activities of the Council of Young Scientists of our university for winning the competition " The Best CYS RK".
