Council of Young Scientists of the NKU M. Kozybaeva, together with the Department of Science, holds an annual competition of scientific projects for a grant from the Chairman of the Board - Rector for young scientists of the NKU. M. Kozybayeva (hereinafter referred to as the Competition).
The purpose of the Competition: stimulation and financial incentives for the research activities of young scientists of the NKU. M. Kozybaeva.
Plan of the Contest: the participants of the Contest provide the following documents to the email address smu@ku.edu.kz:
- an application for participation in the Competition in electronic form in accordance with Appendix 1 to the Regulations of the Competition;
- a presentation of the project in electronic form (in pdf format), drawn up in accordance with the requirements for the design of the project in accordance with Appendix 2 to the Regulations of the Competition.-
Applications are accepted from December 25, 2022 to January 25, 2023 inclusive.
Teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates under the age of 40 inclusive can take part in the competition.
The procedure for holding the Competition: the organizer of the Competition organizes the procedure for the in-person hearing of the participants' projects before the competition committee on January 31, 2023 (the time and place of the hearing will be announced to the participants of the Competition after all applications have been processed).
Competition commission:
- considers applications of participants;
- evaluates each application during the hearing;
- determines the winners of the Competition, according to the criteria given in Appendix 2 of the Regulations of the Competition.
Six winners are determined by the highest total of points scored.
The criteria for evaluating competitive works are specified in Appendix 2 to the information letter and in the Regulations of the Competition.
The results of the Contest will be summed up no later than five working days from the date of the Contest. Based on the results of the competition, the six winners will receive cash grants in the amount of 300,000 (three hundred thousand) tenge each for further research activities.
