The students of the department took part in the annual exhibition of student scientific associations of the university in two directions "Food technologies" and "Zootechnician". The exhibition presented new formulations of polycomponent products and functional products developed by students. In the area of zootechnics, a technology for raising calves based on a new recipe for a whole milk substitute was presented. The students developed the following projects: 1. Development of multicomponent dairy products based on stevia sugar substitute. 2. Development of technology for fat-free cheese and immune drink based on curd whey. 3. Development of technology for milk syrups based on sugar-replacing components. 4. The influence of a plant-based whole milk replacer on the growth rate of calves. Each presented work has scientific novelty, research relevance, and the practical component of the work and the results obtained, which are planned to be introduced into production, are of great importance. Research work of students is one of the most important means improving the quality of training and education of specialists with higher professional education in the agricultural sector, who are able to apply the achievements of scientific and technological progress in practice.
