5 years ago, the Kazakh medical center PVT company's director, Farukh Sheikh, attracted the first students from India to study at the Kozybayev University. Then the medical faculty was opened at the alma mater. Today, the university's partner donated 4 simulators to the educational institution for practicing simulation skills. New equipment for cardopulmonary resuscitation of adults and children has been brought.
Farukh Sheikh also met with the medical faculty's students. In his words, the most important thing is that the imported tools are used for good: "We have been working with Kozybayev University for a long time. There are about 250 Indian students studying here. Currently, I see good opportunities in this region and a bright future for the university. I transferred equipment from India to the university. They use these simulators in the educational process, learn how to properly listen to the heartbeat and provide first aid. I also brought books in English on 19 medical subjects."
"Now our students will take their first exams using this equipment. Of course, we intend to further develop the partnership. It is planned to implement joint research projects," said Renata Apergenova, Member of the Board for Academic Affairs. This year, the medical specialties' first graduates, including 78 children from India, will leave the walls of the alma mater. They studied under the program "General Medicine".
