Solving Modern Scientific Problems

The XI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual problems of Mathematics and natural sciences" was held at the university. "Today, universities have big goals. Now teaching alone is not enough. Society expects universities to solve applied scientific problems. For example, FMNS scientists are dealing with the issue of water purification in a city storage tank, implementing a grant for fundamental mathematical research, etc. Therefore, the main goal of the conference is the exchange of knowledge and the birth of new ideas", said Damel Mektepbaeva, a member of the Board for Innovation and Internationalization.

The partners of Kozybayev University in this conference are the Surgut State Pedagogical Institute (RF) and the Institute of Dendrology of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences. Colleagues made online presentations. A total of 125 articles were received, 70 from far and near abroad. This conference has already become a traditional one for our university. This year it is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.L. Rabinovich. Vladimir Leonidovich is a talented mathematician and teacher, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, and associate professor. He wrote thirty-two scientific articles on mathematics and methods of teaching it. He was the head of the Department of Mathematics at his alma mater in 1962-1969 and taught classes to students. Then, on average, the output of mathematics teachers at the Pedagogical Institute was 60 people. At the end of the plenary session, the ceremonial opening of the named audience of V.L. Rabinovich took place.
