Career guidance work in Mongolia

A "Small Kurultai of the Kazakhs of Mongolia" was held in the Bayan-Ulgii region with the assistance of the NJSC "Otandastar Foundation" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in July this year. During the visit, the heads, methodologists of the Bayan-Ulgii district Education Department met and conducted career guidance work with school graduates and their parents. About 700 children expressed their desire to study at higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by 5 universities of the country, including Kozybayev University. Representatives of the Foundation faculty organized an "Exhibition of Knowledge" in order to attract ethnic Kazakh youth living in Mongolia to study. They also discussed proposals for mutual cooperation of universities on academic mobility programs and the opening of double-degree EP. As a result of the meeting, trustees from universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan were approved for the period of the admission campaign.
