About 1,000 applicants of Kozybayev University received republican grants, including under various quotas: for children from single–parent and large families, orphans, for persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc. The most popular specialties are traditionally "Information Systems", "Finance", "Economics", "Banking", pedagogical.

More than 500 budget places have been allocated for joint educational programs with the University of Arizona. Of these, 150 people receive a double diploma in the following areas: IT, biotechnology and inclusive education. This year, the geography of admission has expanded significantly. They are enrolled from all regions, as well as from Astana, Almaty, Shymkent.

The average score of applicants has also increased, relative to previous years. For example, a graduate of NIS Kostanay enrolled Kozybayev University with 139 points out of 140 possible. There are applicants who scored 133, 129, 128 points, etc. In addition, the university has received grants from the Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region for internship, as well as bachelor's degree in music education and cultural and leisure work.

"The Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region, the Department of Education provided great support to us. Since this year, for the convenience of applicants, 3 admission points for receiving documents were organized in remote areas of the North Kazakhstan region. That is, the children did not have to go specifically to Petropavlovsk to apply for a grant.
