In the first semester, lectures on the discipline "Module of socio-political knowledge" for students studying in international and double-degree programs with the University of Arizona are given by Kazakh historian Zhaksylyk Sabitov. Zhaksylyk Muratovich heads the Research Institute for the Study of the Juchi Ulus of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. PhD, a Medieval researcher studies the history and genealogy of the Kazakh people in the Middle Ages.
"This is not the first time I have visited your university. This time I am giving lectures for students as part of their syllabuses on foreign policy and international relations, quantitative and qualitative methods of sociology, and the policy of nation-building. I will give you the latest research in these areas," the scientist said. A series of lectures is also planned in the second half of the academic year, but already on the history of Kazakhstan.
