«Thanksgiving Day»

9.11.2023 teachers of Foreign Languages Department held a regular open meeting of the English club. This meeting was dedicated to the holiday "Thanksgiving Day."
Thanksgiving Day or Thanksgiving is an American holiday celebrated annually on the fourth Thursday in November.
A student of the J-23 group, HELF Kalieva R. prepared a bright presentation about the history and traditions of the main family holiday, which is celebrated by all residents of the United States.
Thanksgiving is a crucial family holiday for Americans. People postpone all important things in order to get together in the house and have lunch in the circle of relatives. Before the meal, family members take turns saying words of gratitude for the gifts on the table, for the benefits of life, as well as for the joy of the family meeting. Students were presented with a performance of the traditional folk song "Over the River and through the woods."
The event was attended by students from China Zhang Bo, Huang Jing Jing, Lu Yong Qiang, Ma Zhung Lie (Academic Mobility Program), who are currently studying at our university and attending English classes in the FFR-23 group, AF (teacher Korablina TN). The students prepared their speech about the holidays, which celebrate in China.
Seraliev Tamerlan and Sarkenbai Meirambek, students of the H(o) -23k group, showed the presentation of the Nauryz holiday, where they demonstrated the celebration in their families.
All the above holidays - family, good holidays and all the students present dream of celebrating these holidays with their loved ones.
The event was held in a very warm and friendly atmosphere in English. A lot of questions were asked to students from China, to which all those present received answers.
