A bronze medal at the Asian Cup

In Zhezkazgan, qazaq kuresi competitions for the Asian Cup among young men born in 2006-2007 were held, dedicated to the memory of Kaben Shyngysov, an outstanding worker of national education of the Kazakh SSR. The tournament was attended by paluans from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and India. A student of our university, Adilet Murzash (PCS-23k group), performed well and won the 3rd prize!

The wrestler trained under the guidance of the senior coach of the university sports club Dauren Nurguzhin. Qazaq kuresi occupies a special place among national sports. Currently, national wrestling federations have been established and are operating in more than 40 countries of the world. Our university has a section on qazaq kuresi, which popularizes this sport, a healthy lifestyle, helps to preserve sports traditions and customs.
