University summed up the year's results

University's teachers, staff and students gathered to celebrate a solemn event. Summing up the year's results, acting chairman of the Board-Rector Renata Apergenova noted the significant achievements of Kozybayev University: visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to a new educational and laboratory complex, opening of the scientific Center for Agricultural Competence with the Northwestern University of Forestry and Agriculture of China, signing of an agreement with the University of Arizona on international programs and opening of a new joint program on inclusion, launch of MBA programs with AlmaU and others.

Professor of the Kazakh language and literature department Zhanbay Kadyrov was awarded the badge for diligent work in the field of language development. Furthermore, director of the ILL Elena Sabieva and professor of the Physics department Beibut Useinov were awarded the badge for contribution to the science development.

Honorary diplomas and gratitude letters from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan were received by university's 17 employees and teaching staff. Also, honorary diplomas and gratitude letters from the Chairman of the Board-Rector were awarded for achievements in the field of education and diligent work.

This year, 28 research projects aimed at the development of the region and beyond have received funding. Articles have been published in the world's leading scientific journals. This activity of scientists was highlighted at the final event.

Another remarkable event was the participation of Kozybayev University in the Republican Universiade, where our team entered the top 5. Athletes who showed outstanding results received well-deserved awards.

A pleasant part was the winners' encouragement of the competition among faculties and administrative staff for the best New Year's office decoration. 14 colleagues were awarded from the Amanat party. The evening ended with a celebration concert.
