Regional Round Table "Youth of Kazakhstan against Terrorism and Extremism"

15.02.2024 at 19.00, the Regional Round Table "Youth of Kazakhstan against Terrorism and Extremism" was held on the Zoom platform.

Participants: students and teachers of the SKU named after Manash Kozybaeva, head of the department "Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan" Grivennaya L.A., students and teacher Meiramova A.T. of the North Kazakhstan Vocational and Pedagogical College, expert religious scholar in the Information and Clarification Group at the Center for the Study of Problems of Religion Sinyakov Oleg Vitalievich, Astana.

The event was held in the form of a round table, where the present expert-religious scholar of Astana O.V. Sinyakov noted that the threat of the spread of extremist ideology, characterized by the development of youth extremism, has significantly increased in the world. The widespread spread of extremism among young people is evidence of insufficient social adaptation, the development of asocial attitudes of consciousness that cause illegal patterns of its behavior. And in order to counter the threat of the spread of this phenomenon, it is necessary to introduce various methods for the prevention of extremism and do this not formally, limiting itself only to the creation of prevention programs, but to use and use various effective technologies. The students present asked many questions in three languages   (Russian, Kazakh and English) and received comprehensive answers.

Summing up the round table, we all came to the consensus that terrorism and extremism are evil and must be fought. Every citizen of their country must take action to confront this "plague" that has struck the entire world community.
