The university has completed a German language course for students of the Agricultural Technology Faculty (AF) who were selected to participate in an internship abroad from LOGO e.V. The classes were led by Andreas Ruhsert, a Master's graduate of the WFI School of Management. For a month, the students honed their language skills in preparation for their work in German organic farms.
Let us remind you that LOGO, a public association, provides a six-month internship for students of agricultural specializations from around the world in German ecological agricultural enterprises. Kozybayev University students of the Agricultural Technology Faculty have been successfully utilizing this opportunity for 9 years already. The interns work at the enterprises, receive salaries, travel extensively, and make new friends. Food and accommodation are free for them, and visa support is also provided.
Over the course of our collaboration, more than 70 of our students have completed such internships. Previously, they had to work on improving their German language skills independently. Now, they have the opportunity to take an intensive language course free of charge. It is worth noting that this year, at the end of April, 8 students will be heading to Germany for a paid internship.
