Visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Kazakhstan Refik Shabanovic visited Kozybayev University. Ambassador spoke about the traditionally developed fields of pharmacy, tourism, environmentally friendly agriculture, and sports in Croatia. And he was glad to hear that our university has educational programs in all these areas. These areas can become common grounds for bilateral cooperation.

"The School of agrotechnological sciences is strong in our university, the Faculty of Medicine has been opened since 2018, – said Acting Chairman of the Board – Rector Renata Apergenova. The university has a successful experience of partnership in the implementation of double-degree programs with the University of Arizona, as well as scientific and educational collaboration in the agro sector with partners from China."

The guest was told not only about the academic and scientific work of the alma mater, but also about student’s extracurricular life, infrastructure, and the main vectors of development, where transparency, open-mindedness to the new projects allows Kozybayev University to remain one of the promising higher education institutions in the northern region of the country.
