The Faculty of Engineering and Digital Technologies does not stand aside.

The head of the republican headquarters for coordinating flood control measures and eliminating the consequences of floods, Olzhas Bektenov, visited the North Kazakhstan region. During the inspection, he expressed gratitude to volunteers and experts for their support and emphasized the importance of accelerating work to protect the city. Kozybayev University students do not stand aside and participate in flood control activities as volunteers. 

“...We, students of North Kazakhstan University named after. M. Kozybaeva, in the current situation, following patriotic feelings, they came to provide all possible assistance. Now, in this situation, everyone’s help is important…” said Ualikhan Abylaykhan, a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Engineering and Digital Technologies.

More than thirty volunteer students from the Faculty of Engineering and Digital Technologies came to the aid of local residents and emergency response personnel to assist in flood control measures. Under the guidance of rescuers, young people prepared bags of inert material to create temporary barriers against flood waters.
