Flood control works are being intensively carried out in the North Kazakhstan region. Kozybayev University does not stay out of trouble. Our volunteers continue to take a direct part in the building of hydro-protective constructions and the sorting out of humanitarian aid on a daily basis. They are filling sacks for the construction of fortifications and temporary fences. The guys consider helping the country in a difficult situation as their civic duty.
In addition, the initiative group of the university has opened collecting of aid for people who experienced flood in 101 office of the Building №4. Long-term food products (sunflower oil, flour, cereals, pasta, drinking water, baby food, etc.), personal hygiene products (for children and adults), other basic necessities and things are accepted.
Also, free accommodation in campus dormitories has been organized for students, teachers and staff living in the flooded area and in need of temporary housing. Up to 100 beds are provided.
