Mutalap Kangozhin 75th anniversary

A literary-musical evening "Қызылжардан есен леп" took place at our university on the 20^th of December 2012. It was devoted to the 75th anniversary of a poet, a journalist, an honorary citizen of our town Mutalap Kangozhin. Mutalap aga is well- known as a journalist, a poet, an honorary citizen. Colleagues, contemporaries, friends, academic staff and students of ILL gathered to celebrate his jubilee.

Mutalap Kangozhin was born in 1937 in the village Karagash Leninsky district of North Kazakhstan region. He started as an ordinary journalist and achieved then senior positions. Mutalap aғa is a member of KazakhstanWriters Union, honored worker of culture of Kazakhstan, winner of medals "For Labor Service", "LaborVeteran".

Rector congratulated Mutalap Kangozhin on his birthday; he was awarded the title of honorary professor of our university.

Collections of Mutalap Kangozhin’s poetry "Ақ қайыңдар аралы", "Қызылжар", "Жыр керуен", "Абылдайдың ақ үйі" were published. His works are characterized by warmth and reflections; they sounded like the voice of the citizen. Student of ILL Aytolқyn Mnaydarova dedicated to the poet her poems.

On this day, his friends and colleagues told him many warm words. Gifts from the regional Department of languages ​​and ILL were presented. After the festivity there was a concert.
