Tempus

"Tempus" - a program funded by the European Union, aims to support the modernization of higher education in the partner countries from Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Mediterranean. In Kazakhstan a National Team of peers is set up to promote it. Its representatives met with the administration of the university, heads of departments, services, faculties, research centers and laboratories in the seminar entitled "Adapting the basic parameters of the Bologna process in the HEIs of Kazakhstan."

Shaizada Tasbulatova - Coordinator of "Tempus" in Kazakhstan, said: "The program" Tempus "provides grants to universities, as well as organizations and companies working directly in the field of higher education. It funds their projects on modernization of management systems, certification of universities, the development and dissemination of new curricula, teaching methods and other."

Seminar was held for two days. At the end, all participants were awarded certificates.
