International conference on energy saving

Engineering and technology faculty has conducted the International scientific-practical conference "Topical issues of energy saving and new technologies of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan". A program of the conference included a plenary meeting and works on sections. 

The rector of NKSU Undasyn Ashimov noted that the effective energy saving was one of the main development directions of Kazakhstan opening the event. Today energy saving and solving the problems of energy and ecological crisis are the topical issues. Scientists of the country developped large projects on the use of the sun and wind energy. Doctoral candidates, postgraduates and students of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan actively take part in researches along with scientists. Many of their works are involved in the republic contests, and realized in patetnt developments. 

Professor of Omsk state technical university, the head of "Metal-cutting equipments and instruments" department Andrey Popov participated in conference. He shared experience of using the modern technologies of mechanical engineering. 

The Conference has been a consequence of research work carried out in the department. There are Students' Scientific Society in each department. Students conduct research using a rich material-technical base of the faculty. The second part of the conference has been held in the laboratory, where researches conduct.
