The university is in the rating of QS Emerging Europe & Central Asia

Tengrinews informs that 14 universities of Kazakhstan are included in the rating of universities of Emerging Europe & Central Asia, which made up by the Britain company Quacquarelli Symonds.

Our university is in the list of these universities, taking 131-140 places.

In total more than 150 universities from 22 countries were included in the rating of QS EECA. M.V.Lomonosov Moscow state university is at the top of the list. Novosibirsk state university is in the second place. Czech Karlov university, Tartus university and St. Petersburg state university are in the top five.

Ranking of education institutions was conducted on nine criteria:

• academic reputation;
• reputation among employers;
• the ratio of teaching staff and students;
• publication activity of teaching staff;
• the effectiveness of Internet resources;
• the proportion of teaching staff with advanced degrees;
• citations of scientific publications;
• the proportion of foreign teaching staff;
• the proportion of foreign students.
