The national rating of the best Universities of Kazakhstan - 2016 was published

Independent Kazakhstan Quality Assurance Agency in Education (IQAAE) July 12 submitted the national rating of the best universities of Kazakhstan - 2016.

National rating of IQAAE is multidimensional or general rating, as it consists of three components. The first of them is academic statistical indicators and criteria that cover the contingent and the composition of students, the results of their training, the quality of the activities of faculty, research and innovation activities of universities, international cooperation and information representation in the Internet. The second component is the reputation of higher education institutions in the eyes of university experts, the third - is the reputation of universities with employers.

Some of the data used in this rating, provided by independent sources, such as: JSC "Center for International Programs" Bolashak "National Testing Center, the base of scientific articles Web of Science and Scopus', the results of the annual competition of MES" The best teacher of the year ", the International Centre scientific and technical information (Moscow, Russia) and the Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the national rating of the best universities of Kazakhstan is represented by only 52 university of the country. These Universities which have overcome the threshold of 33% of the maximum number of points on the academic resources, therefore in the category of multidisciplinary universities represented only 18 educational establishments. 

North Kazakhstan State University took the 16th place in the National rating of the best multidisciplinary universities of Kazakhstan.

Also, by the agency has been summed up the rating of the best Internet resources of the Universities of Kazakhstan-2016. Site of NKSU occupies the 10th position in the rating from 52.
